How much money does an organization earn from SoapBox Fundraising?
SoapBox soaps come in individual kits of 12 bars and sell for $5 per bar. Your organization collects $60 per kit in total sales and you keep $24 per kit (40% profit). The minimum order is 30 kits but there is no limit on how many kits you can receive.

How do I place an order and how long does it take to receive the soap?
All you have to do is give us a call at 888-872-7128 or email us at hello@soapboxfundraising.com. Your order will ship in 7-10 days of us receiving your signed fundraising agreement.

What’s up with payments and shipping fees?
We accept payment by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX & Discover), e-checks, check/money order, and school purchase order. When you submit a personal check for payment, we ask that you authorize us to initiate an ACH or electronic payment that will be debited from your bank account. Funds may be withdrawn from your bank account as soon as the same day we process your payment.

There is no charge for shipping and handling.

What if I have product that I couldn’t sell and need to return?

What kind of soap are we talking about anyway?
The 5 oz. bars are available in Lemongrass and Lavender scents and made with all natural olive, coconut, grape seed, and safflower oils and scented with a blend of all natural essential oils. We also include organic fair trade shea butter and unrefined sea salt both of which provide natural benefits for your skin.

Does your soap contain glycerin?
Glycerin is one of the natural byproducts of the soap making process, and is derived from the natural vegetable oils we use to make our soap, so it is a natural part of all SoapBox Soaps. Soap with glycerin are gentler on skin than most soap, making it a good choice for people who have particularly dry or sensitive skin.

Does your soap contain lye?
Our soap does contain lye (potassium hydroxide). Lye is actually essential in the process of making all soaps. It is what turns a blend of oils into soap. Though lye is used in the process, there is no residual lye in soap after the saponification process.

Are your soaps free of parabens?
Yes. We refuse to add parabens, sulfates, or petrochemicals (a class of chemicals widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries) to any of our soaps.

What are all the ingredients in the soap?
Sodium cocoate [coconut oil], water, glycerin, natural fragrance blend [essential oils], organic fair trade shea butter, olive oil, grape seed oil, safflower oil, sea salt, sodium chloride [salt], sodium gluconate [special salt that keeps the soap from going bad].

How does this free bar of soap that’s given away for every bar we sell help others?
When a supporter buys a bar of soap from your SoapBox fundraiser, another bar is donated to a person in need right here in the USA. We have carefully chosen food banks and homeless shelters all over the country to distribute these bars, and the impact you will make with your fundraiser and your supporters’ purchases will go directly to a food bank or homeless shelter in your own state!

Why is soap so important?
Bars of soap are in high demand in both shelters and food banks. Because government aid agencies only cover the cost of food and community members often don’t think to bring hygiene products to a food bank, there aren’t a lot of options for those who need these items. With every bar of soap purchased through your fundraiser, you’re helping to fulfill these direct needs right in your own community.
